KING MPC
 A multipurpose cooperative duly registered with the
Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).

 Started as an informal association of Bureau of Agriculture

Extension – Region XI back in 1967. Initiated by 600
members with an initial capital of P179, 000.00

 In April 15, 1981 registered as Ministry of Agriculture Coop

Inc. at Bureau of Coop Development.

SOCIAL SERVICES: DENTAL, EDUCATIONAL,

MEDICAL and OPTICAL ASSISTANCE
• DENTAL ASSISTANCE - MIGS for at least one year, with P10,000.00 and
above share capital outstanding for at least one (1) year and updated in loan
repayments prior to availment.
• Reimbursement arrangement on dental services-Amount of assistance is the
actual expenses or 5% of the share capital, whichever is lower but not more
than P2,000.00 within the calendar year. The member shall required to
payback the assistance, if within one (1) year from the availment, he/her
share capital will go below the minimum requirement of ( P10,000.00).
• Period of claim: 60 days from the consultation/treatment
• Requirements: Dentist’s Certificate & Official Receipt.

• OPTICAL ASSISTANCE - MIGS for at least one year, with
P10,000.00 and above share capital outstanding for at least one

eye glasses-reading glasses). Amount of assistance is the actual
expenses or 5% of the share capital, whichever is lower but not more

• MEDICAL GUARANTEE AND LOAN ASSISTANCE- is designed to help

the members in securing the admission and subsidize hospitalization
cost. It is a combination of hospitalization guarantee loan and a
subsidy.
Members in Good Standing ( MIGS ) for at least one year who needs confinement in the
hospital, with at least P10,000.00 share capital maintained for at least one year prior to
the loan availment and with the total loan balance not exceeding the amount of share
capital are qualified to avail the Medical Guarantee and Loan Assistance. The amount of
subsidy 10% of the share capital or the actual amount paid to the hospital (net of PHIC &
other insurance) whichever is lower but not more than P5,000.00 within the fiscal year.
The member shall fill up and sign the claim form and submit hospital bills/statement with
official receipts.(OR-optional)

Computation of amount of Assistance:

10% of P20,000.00 = Php 2,000.00 vs Php 15,000.00
Amount of Assistance = Php 2,000.00

If in case, all the hospital bills have no excess or is paid by the health insurance, the
assistance is 5% of the Share Capital but not more than Php 2,000.00
5% of Php 20,000.00 = Php 1,000.00

REMINDER:
 The member cannot claim if he/she has unpaid loan amortizations.
 The share capital is below the requirement.
 Does not meet the qualification per policy.

MORTUARY BENEFITS
65 years old and above
QUALIFICATIONS AMOUNT OF BENEFIT
• Regular Members aged 65 years old and above with
Savings Deposit of at least P 1,000.00 and Share Capital of
at least P 5,000.00 maintained for a period of five (5) years P 100,000.00
(immediately preceding the member’s death)

If failed to qualify on the above requirements but,

P 50,000.00
a.) the share capital balance is P3,000.00 but below
P5,000.00, with at least five (5) years as Regular Member or;

b.) the share capital balance is below P3,000.00 but not less
P 20,000.00
than P1,000.00, and with at least five (5) years Regular
Member.
