Mathematics Academic Performance INTRODUCTION
• This study visual all the information and
data about the academic performance of the student who encountered pressure and difficulties in Mathematics. This study stated all the information needed. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this study is to know what is
the problem why many student failed in Mathematics and to know their reason also. This study aims to help many student who have difficulties in Mathematics. PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
• the importance of mathematics in day-
to-day activities is no longer new. However, what remains new is the fact student's performance in Mathematics has not improved significantly despite its importance, not even with the introduction and use of technology in Mathematics as confirmed by chang and colleagues(2006) when they state that now day, Student make use of computer assisted problem solving system to better learn and understand mathematics. PURPOSE OF THE STUDY • The purpose of this study is to help many student who affect their performance and who had difficulties in Mathematics. This study want to know if how student face and handle their dilemma in Mathematics. REVIEW RELATED LITERATURE(RRL)
• SUBRATA SAHA (2007) had conducted a
"study on academic achievement in mathematics in relation to cognitive tyle and attitude toward Mathematics". • The boys and girls differed significantly on all the tree measures under consideration. The field independent boys excelled over the field dependent girls also excelled over the field dependend girls significantly. RESEARCH QUESTION: 1. If you rate in 1-10 your academic performance or average grades in final quarter, how much can you estimate to rate it base on your academic performance.
2.How many times you failed in
mathematics in overall quarter/overall grading based on your academic performance iN mathematics? 3. If you rate in percentage you're intelligence quotient(I.Q.) or knowledge in mathematics how much can you estimate it based on your learning or performance in mathematics
4. Rate your math teacher in 10-100
percentage base on his/her performance or his/her teaching performance. • 5. What situation did affect your performance in mathematics? GROUP 3 FELJUN DEJAÑO MARY JOY GUMILA JAYSON ANTIGA AIZA LUNA KENNENTH FERER
