Hybrid System Coolant Replacement
– Refilling method for HV System
1. Slowly pour coolant into the reserve tank
until it reaches the F line.
2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain /
Hybrid Control / Active Test / Activate the
Water Pump.
5. Keep the coolant at the F line in the reserve for Engine
tank to compensate for the drop in coolant
level when the air bleeds.

Standard:
Air bleeding from the inverter cooling system is completed when the
noise made by the water pump becomes smaller and the circulation of
coolant in the reserve tank improves.

NOTICE:
25 Do not reuse the drained coolant because it may contain foreign objects.

the EV drive mode can be used
The hybrid system temperature is not high (The hybrid system temperature
will be high when the outside air temperature is high or after the vehicle has
traveled up a hill or at high speeds).
The hybrid system temperature is not low (The hybrid system temperature will
be low after the vehicle has been left for a long time when the outside air
temperature is low).
Operating
The engine coolant temperature is approx. 20 deg C (68 deg F) or more.
