History
Over last 133 years from treating victims of plague in the late 1870s, St. Martha’s Hospital, Bengaluru provide
compassionate medical and nursing care for the poorer section of Bangalore. The hospital currently treats over
2.50 lakh out-patients and 21,000 in-patients annually. Out of the 550 beds available, 410 are earmarked for
general ward patients, who are given free or concessional treatment.
Ecoparadigm DTS was installed to treat wastewater from the laundry, floor cleaning, toilets, and all other liquid
waste. It has commissioned in 2008 and has been working optimally since then.

Need for the project During construction of DTS

• To have legal compliance with CPCB, in 2009 Martha’s Hospital have installed DTS
with 850 KLD capacity
