CRITERIA 5 – Reduce hard paving on site


• Total surface parking marked to exceed the area as permissible under the local by law
• More than 50% of the total paved area to have pervious paving / open green pavement / grass pavers
• A minimum 50% of the total paved area (including parking) to have shading by vegetative roof / pergola with planters.
• A minimum 50% of the total paved area (including parking) to be topped with finish having solar reflectance of 0.5 or higher

CRITERIA 6 – Enhance outdoor lighting efficiency


A minimum of 25% of the total number or 15% of the total connected load of outdoor lighting fixtures (whichever is higher) to be powered by
solar energy. Outdoor lighting system includes :-
• Security lighting
• Street lighting
• Landscape lighting
• Façade lighting
• Parking lighting
