Planning
 Class learning includes Class tests, class activities and
project work – Assessment For Learning.
 Class tests and activities to be marked MUST be
planned during coordination.
 A percentage will be awarded to the Class learning
which will be reflected in the result sheet but not
added with the Exam marks.
Flexibility in planning
 The tests have to be planned internally within a school
with the subject teachers and Head/SM.
 Students who will not be appearing in a particular test
will not be awarded a zero instead they will be marked
on some other work.
 Students will be intimated about the upcoming
test/subject through a diary note only(no unified
schedule)
 Planning will ascertain the test content, teacher will
plan during the meeting only when she wishes to
conduct it in her class/section (day/date/time)
 This will be written in the Teacher’s Assessment
schedule sheet and the Head will take down the details
in her own Head’s Test Schedule format.
 All tests must be planned for one period only.
 Absentees can be given to prepare something else and
then their test can be conducted at another time.
 Students must not fear the upcoming test at all.
 Teaching and learning must ascertain that each
student is prepared for written work any day of the
week.
Class Tests (CT)

planned in the coordination meeting.
 The activity can be modified by the teacher(s)
according to the students’ abilities but eventually all
students must be at the same level, as the LO are the
same.
Project Work
 Project is an integral part of Class Learning.
 Each project will be marked out of 10 marks, however,
the weightage might differ.
 Project work must end three weeks before the Unified
exams (MYE/EOY)
 Project work, as always, will be conducted in school
only.

 Fair and just planning of the test contents will
lead to positive learning.
 Fear factor must be eliminated at all costs.
 All tests must be checked within three days to
ensure smooth flow of regular work in NBs.
 It is solely the subject/substitute teacher’s
responsibility to collect the Test worksheets or NBs for
checking.
 Blame cannot be placed on the student for not
submitting the NB, incharges must be made from
within the class for these tasks.
 Test index will be made, however, marked CW will not
be shared with the students.
Test Indices
 Marks will be entered in test indices side by side on
regular basis with DATE.
 No delays in marks entry.
 September tests will be pasted/stapled in the NB.
 Test index to be update immediately after the tests are
checked.
