remember information better
when the material printed
presented visually opposed to
verbally.
• Some of visual learner will find
that pictures, diagrams, mind
maps and graphs work best.
• But I will do well in seeing
highlighted words and reading.

My Personal
learning Style
Study in solitude.
As a visual learner, I study by looking
things & letters in order to memorise
what I learn. Noise might be distractful
and that's the reason why I prefer to
study alone rather than in a group. Not
only noise, but also appearence of
other people around me while studying
will distract me as I will tend to look at
them and can't remain focused when
studying/working.
Watch Videos
I response so well to information that
presented in video form. This method
will help capture all the information
and it will be easier for me to
memorise.
Study one topic by using
same source
I need to remain my source of reading as I
easily memorise by snaping a mental
picture of word. When i read passages, i
will close my eyes just to visualize the
information that i just read. Different
sources of reading for the same topic
would confuse me.
Write out additional
notes
Even if the teacher provides the notes, I
will take my own notes anyway. I
believe that reproducing the content
through addition notes is one of the
effective methods of learning.The act
taking notes on paper will move the
information from auditory (listening) to
visual and it activates the parts of the
brain responsible for visual processing.
Colour code notes/keyword
I usually use coloured pen to take notes with
different colours to represent different
concepts. I also use highlighters to highlight
some keywords. However, I will try to be
consistent with the colour that i choose and i
think that's really important. These highlights
will help imprint the information onto my
memory. Eventually, i will start to associate
certain colours with certain information which
will help me remember it better.
