A. How global issues in relation to online technology in general have affected communication?
Global issues in relation to online technology has a great toll in communication. Online technology
meaning you are using a internet/connected to a network, example of this is social media. As a Gen Z,
we are always connected to the internet. Social Media is convenient in obtaining a news, entertainment,
business, educational purposes and also in communication. But, Social media also has a cons, which
can also affect are communication. Yes, we are using social media to communicate but it also makes us
unsocial. In the video of Ms. Allison Graham, social media influences people ways of life by:

B. How you feel about communication changing over years?

Technology is truly a great resources that is putting useful information in our daily lives. One of
the most useful in our todays generation is the social media. Social media has a big contribution in
communication but over the years it changed the way we communicate with each other. In the past,
you had to write a letter to communicate with someone. The letter could take days before it was
delivered. But now, in just one click on different social media, the information can spread like a
wildfire. For me, I am thankful that the communication now in todays generation is faster and
technology allows us to easily connect with people worldwide using our social media. Nonetheless,
the communication advancement also creates many problems. The negative effect of interacting
through each other in a social media is the significant decline in physical interaction between
humans.

A. How global issues in relation to online technology in general have affected communication?
Global issues in relation to technology put a huge effect on how we communicate today. In the
modern day it has put so many pros and cons. One the advantage of the modern day communication is
that it can help us to reach other people easily, with a simple click or touch on mobile phone we can see
someone we want to see even he is in the other part of the world. Modern day communication also helps
us widen our circle and we can communicate to everyone by the help of the internet. One of The cons of
modern day communication is that I see a lot of people, family, and couples on a date that are using
mobile phones, we can say that it loses our ability to communicate face and it was there are someone or
anyone more important than people in front of them. I my self feel. The guilt when I realise that I am
losing my knowledge in grammar when I try to abbreviate each word that I texted, it was like we I wasn't
able to express my self. In our everyday life we always use social media and as what Allison graham
said its no harm to take an hour break on social media and try to communicate personally because its a
lot better.

B. How you feel about communication changing over years?
We improve the way we communicate as of today because we use social media to interact with
each other. As of today its a lot different on how to communicate comparing from way back then,
because back then we use letters and cards etc. for communicating when the person is far away from
you. For me it waste a lot of time for just delivering it but now, as we can see or experience the way we
communicate evolves the easier we communicate just one tap it is immediately delivered its a lot better.
Social media makes communication a lot easier and faster today but as of today because social media is
a big thing we use to much of it. Most kids today in our generation use social media they don’t socialize
There are some goods and bad causes on how communication evolves but if we know when or how to
use it properly it will help us to improve more.

These online technologies helps us in a very prompt way where in, it is convenient for the
people nowadays to use it as a form of communication. Today, it is not hard for a person to
convey their inside thoughts in a particular topic to others even if they are million miles apart
by posting it to social media. Calls, chats, especially video calls are much recommended
incase you miss someone so much. Searching for something is not hard anymore because
you can just search it in google apps instead of reading in libraries. Through these online
technologies, we can all be connected to one another and share our ideas and point of views
in any of issues in life.

B. How you feel about communication changing over years?

Communication change a lot over these past few years both verbal and non-verbal. By the use of
technologu and social media. Social media has a big impact on all of us, specially on millenials. I
noticed that with the help of it everything changes so fast, anything happen so fast. We can do all
things easily because of the technology. Now we're no longer using the old way of communication
which is writing a letter for those who is overseas, and waiting a few months to receive that letter.
Today we are now in modern world everything changes we can now talk to our family or relatives
working overseas through calls and video call by the use of or mobile phone. Also because of these
changes, there's what you called stan words or text that was being used by the millenials nowadays.
Stan words are those shorten words that has a deep or mean meaning for example "spill the tea" it
means "to share a gossip or news", "JOMO" means "Joy Of Missing Out", and "TFW" means "That
Feeling When", well thats a few famous stan words that being used by the youth now. Because of the
technology and social media our work, our daily lives, specially our communication with others
contains a lot of changes, and its made our life more comfortable.

For me technology speeds uo communication between people. Now people can use email, social
media, chat messengers, video conferemcing, video calls, images, diagrams, chart and emoticons for
the communication. But technology has also impacted us positively abd negatively in our daily life
communication. Before the evolution of technology humas were focused on their goals, we were more
productive due to lack of distractions , life was slow tge competition was slow due to lack of gap
among people and business. The communication was not so fast and destructive and it was not viral.

I feel that in terms of oras communication we are using fewer words and repeating them
too often, while requiring those words to have multiple meaning.

As we use social media we forgot to interact with the people around us because we focus more on
our gadgets. we can no longer go out of the house to play or socialize because we prefer to stay at
home just for social media. we have forgotten the importance of personal communication because of the
social media system and it changed our interactions with other people.

Social media have changed the world so much. social media helps us for an easy
communication. example is the messenger, In messenger it makes our communication easier
because you can chat/call someone with just one click and with the help of the internet. The
News spread so fast and in that case, you cannot tell whether if it true or not. social media
changes the attitudes and behavior of every person. This people gets addicted in using social
media networks and it causes them to get tardy in everything that involves household or even
projects or home works.

These various online technologies, communication was affected positively wherein it has
been very much helpful and convenient when it comes to communication and one most important
factor is that through these technologies, unheard voices and opinions on global issues can now

Communication have been continuously evolving as time passes by. Through these
continuing changes, it has caused communication to have both advantage and disadvantage.
One if its advantages is that you can easily connect with those people you love. With just a
single click, you're now connected. Meanwhile, with all these advantages, communication also
has its disadvantages. Wherein, people tends to be distracted when they have an opportunity
in front of them. Yes, they may think that they are connected, but no, they aren't. They are
disconnected in terms of face-to-face communication.
