Etika profesi adalah sebagai sikap hidup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelayanan profesional
dari klien dengan keterlibatan dan keahlian sebagai pelayanan dalam rangka kewajiban
masyarakat sebagai keseluruhan terhadap para angglta masyarakat yang membutuhkannya
dengan disertai refleksi yang seksama

Etika profesi adalah sikap etis sebagai bagian

integral dari sikap hidup dalam menjalankan
kehidupan sebagai pengemban profesi serta
mempelajari penerapan prinsip-prinsip moral dasar
atau norma-norma etis umum pada bidang-bidang
khusus (profesi) kehidupan manusia.
Kode Etik Profesi
Kode etik profesi merupakan kriteria prinsip profesional yang

telah digariskan, sehingga diketahui dengan pasti kewajiban
profesional anggota lama, baru, ataupun calon anggota
kelompok profesi. Kode etik profesi telah menentukan
standarisasi kewajiban profesional anggota kelompok profesi.
Sehingga pemerintah atau masyarakat tidak perlu campur
tangan untuk menentukan bagaimana profesional
menjalankan kewajibannya.
