Project Brief Vis-a-Vis Business Model

• The proposed ERP will stand on 3 pillars- warehouse &


stock management, Procurement, Sales Order Financing.
• The underlying Business Model will be as follows:-
• The customers(Ecommerce Co, hotels, etc) will request for purchase order
financing for the commodities procured or booked for convenient
warehousing
• The Procurement team will consolidate the requirement and get the items
stored in warehouse and the financing terms or pre-booking amt need be
paid/committed by the customer
• On agreed dates, the inventory will be released subject to part/full payment
• The customer can avail multiple credit agreements based on creditworthiness
and sales.
• Future Integration with the Govt Mandi’s and also customer procurement
databse will be accomplished

Automation Through ERP
• Warehousing Module- to be used for inwarding and outwarding of stock
with appropriate tags of the ultimate customer, insurance, expiry date( for
perishables and apt reminders), issuance of WR(warehousing receipts), Inspection
for Export trade or as per customer request etc. Available reports-GRN, GIN, Stock
Register with valuation, Stock Ageing, Stock Perishable Index, etc
• Procurement Module- to be used by the procurement agents and also
warehousing staff for issuing Stock queries/orders and stock confirmations through
CRM module to end customers. Available reports- Pending Stock Query/PO, Stock
Valuation.etc. Future plan of integration through real time price sharing and
ordering from commodity exchanges will be enabled in V2.
• Finance & Accounting Module - to be used for application of loan
agreements, interest & DP(drawing power)auto calculation, Customer ledger,
stock delivery reports , GST reports etc. Available reports- as already mentioned
• Customer Portal- to be used by customers for commodity purchase/booking
queries as well as for loan application. Available reports- customer ledger,
customer stock position, Customer loan ledgers( single/consol),etc.

CRM
• Online request system from Buyer Portal through
Buyer login. Option to add items from item master in
Online request
• Sales Enquiry generation option from CRM Module
• Option of delivery from multi location warehouse (in
future)
• Delivery challan in event of supply to Buyer. (In
future Integration with challan generation system if
required for auto sales delivery challan.)
• Sales Bill and integration to Finance module.

Loan and Interest calculation
• Loan and interest setup
• Option of simple interest / compound interest in
setup
• Loan waiver system ( Part and Full)
• Option of calculation of Interest start date from
challan date+ grace days.
• In event of part payment the interest calculation
would be on diminishing balance method only.
• Party Loan ledger to be of two options – a) Normal
ledger b) Sales Order wise

Procurement
• Option of creation of Indent against Sales Order.
(Single/multiple)
• PO from Indent
• GRN/MRN from PO
• As on date no option to generate PO against SO.
Sales Delivery Challan quantity to be manually
provided by user.
• Report of Indent to GRN with mention of Sales Order
reference.
• Purchase bill and integration with Finance module.

Finance Module
• Normal operational screens – R/P, JV, Contra,
BRS, cheque print, TDS, GST.
• Normal reports – Trial, P/L, B/S, TDS reports,
GST reports.
• Auto posting of financial implications from
Procurement , Sales and warehouse module.
• Some BI reports and BI tools for custom report
creation populating data from different
modules in excel.

Warehouse Management
• Warehouse Identification setup
• SKU setup and Bar coding setup
• bar coding integration to item master and integration
with SKU.
• So person by mistake keeps wrong items in wrong SKU, it
gives a report.
• Damaged / Near perishable items identification alert
system with respect to SKU.
• Rental calculation setup based on SKU.
• Rental Bill generation and integration to finance module.
