The Coca-Cola Company

 The Coca-Cola Company is an American multinational beverage corporation


and manufacturer, retailer and marketer of nonalcholic beverage
concentrates and syrups, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Geogia.
 The company is best known for its flagship product Coca-Cola. As one of
the most successful multinational company in the world, with many sub
division at 200 countries and eighty percent of company revenue is from
business outside America, Coca-Cola is accepted as international company.
 Coca-cola dividing their global operation into 25 division which organized
under 6 region : North America, Europe, Asia Pasific, Middle East, Africa and
Latin America. With many division organized at many place, Coca-Cola
company must have a good human resources management.
Human resource management within Coca-Cola

 Human resource management is an essential part for any organization.


Moreover, development of this department is the first step, the ground
on which the future of the company depends. It is essential for every
single business unit and especially for such International Company as
Coca-Cola. Human Resource Management at Coca Cola company has
many advantages as well as disadvantage. It is the global company and
it is impossible to create certain policies or procedures applicable in all
divisions of the company, cultural and political differences need to be
taken into account.
Organizing Human resources at Coca Cola Company

 Management at Coca Cola Company focuses on the acquisition of


highly skilled and knowledgeable employees so that it can mantain its
top position in the market. It treats these resources as an asset. It
provides such conditions of employment and procedures that enables
all employees to develop a sense of unity with the enterprise and to
carry out their duties in the most willing and effective manner. It also
provides for the security of employment to the workers so that they
may not be distracted by the uncertainties of their future.
 
Recruitment Process :

 Coca-cola recruitment process is well established. First of all they give ads in news paper,
websites and institutes. Once they received an application form then they asked for C.V and
other documents.
 Recruitment at coca-cola done in two ways :
 >Internal recruitment
 >External recruitment

 Internal recruitment :
 Internal recruitment is to recruit the people internally within organization. Where a job
vacancy is filled from within the business, an existing employee rather than employing
externally.
  
 External recruitment :
 External recruitment is where to fill the vacancy from any suitable applicant outside
the organization.
Selection Process :

 The selection process will vary depending on the position


employee applying for, as one process can’t fit all the different
roles as Coca Cola Company has.
 Coca-Cola Company use different method in selection process
that is :
 Interviews
 Presentations
 Psychometric test
 Roles plays / situational test
Training and development :

 Coca-cola training and development programs


are equally impressive. They have an
extensive on the job training program to focus
on the day-to-day needs of their people and in
each of their offices across the continent
there are a number of local training initiatives
catering to particular regional needs.
Performance Appraisal

 Coca-cola performance appraisal is annually. The HR Manager said that


we appraise the employee due to their performance about goals of the
organization, we set goals started the year and tell the employees about
the goal if the employee achieve this goal we appraise the employees.
 Steps in appraising performance
 The performance appraisal process contains three steps :
Define the job :
Means making sure that you and your subordinate agree on his or
her duties and job standard.
Appraise the performance :
Means comparing your subordinate actual performance to the
standards that have been set.
Provide feedback :
Means discuss the subordinate performance and progress, make
Objective and compesation

 Their compesation objective is to improve the performance of the


employees and convey the message of the employees that the
company is loyal with employees. HRD Manager says that employees
are our assets, we are careful about their health and benefits.
Employees happiness

 Employees are the most important assets of every company so it is


very important to give them importance. The satisfaction of the
employees makes the company successful.
 Coca-cola company way at maintaning employees happiness are by giving
them :
 -Basic salary
 -Bonus
 -Medical facility
 -Gratuity fund
Conclusion

 The Coca-cola company is a successful international


business, as a international corporate, they need to
have a good Human Resources Management. The
management of human resources at their company is
good, provable with the expanding of their business
to many countries. With many standard and
compensation, employees at the Coca-Cola company
are guaranteed of their happiness.
