Kelarutan : larut dalam air, etanol,
klorofom, propilenglikol,
agak sukar larut dalam gliserin

Inkompatibilitas : ketidakcocokan dengan bahan pengoksidasi
kuat (cayman cemical, 2017)
Stabilitas :stabil dalam cahaya dan panas
(pubchem,2012)
Efek Farmakologi : Memperbanyak produksi dahak (yang
encer),dan dengan demikian mengurangi kekentalan, sehingga
mempermudah pengeluarannya dengan batuk.

Guaifenesin 2% (Zat Aktif)
Sirup simplex 60%(Pemanis)
Propilenglikol 15% (Pengawet)
Sorbitol 15%(Anti-Caploking)
Brillent Red 0,3 %(Pewarna)
Ess.Strawberry 0,6 %(Pengaroma)
Aquadest ad 150 ml
Perhitungan Bahan :

-Guaifenesin 100mg/5 ml
Untuk 1 botol(100 ml) = 100 mg/5 ml x100 ml
=2000mg
Dilebihkan 2 % =150 + (2/100 x150)= 153 ml
- Propilenglikol = 153/5 x 0,7 ml = 21,42 ml
- Sorbitol = 153/ 5x 0,7 ml = 21,42ml
-Brillent Red =153/5 x 0,015 ml = 0,459ml
- Ess. Strawberry = 153/5 x 0,03 ml = 0,918 ml
- Sirup simplex = 153/5 x 3 ml = 91,8 ml
- Aquadest = 153- (0,7+0,7+0,015+0,918+ 3)ml
- = 153 – 5,468 ml
- = 147,5 ml
Pembuatan Sediaan Sirup

1) Disiapkan Alat dan Bahan yang

digunakan
2) Dikalibrasi botol sampai 150ml,diberi
tanda
3) Dilarutkan semua bahan pada masing-
masing pelarut
4) Dicampurkan larutan propilenglikol ke
dalam sirup simplex dan diaduk hingga
homogen
5) Dimasukkan larutan sirup simplex ke
dalam gelas beaker yang berisi larutan
guaifenesin dan diaduk hingga homogen
6) Ditambahkan sorbitol, brillent red, dan
Ess.Strawberry ke dalam larutan yang
pertama
7) Dimasukkan ke dalam botol, dan
diaddkan sampai pada batas yang telah
ditandai
8) Dimasukkan kemasan dan diberi etiket
