INTRODUCTION TO TOPIC
BACKGROUND
• Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of
philosophy that involves systematizing, defending,
and recommending concepts of right and wrong
conduct. Ethics seeks to resolve questions of
human morality by defining concepts such as
good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice,
justice and crime.
• Airlines industry has dealt with various ethical
issues in the last few decades. From safety of the
passengers and the crew, to matters related to
environment protection
• The safety of the aviation industry depends on the
ethical and professional conduct of the people
involved in the industry.

• This study used correlational and
review design to answer the questions
and the purpose of study
• The correlational and review design
used are case control study and
literature review.
• The data content are the safety
accidents, government regulations, and
airline regulations
PROPOSED APPROACH
CONCLUSION
• In this study, the problem the researcher addressing are did the ethical issues still
exist, the influence of ethics in airline industry, the relation between ethics and low
cost air travel, and ethics factors in aviation industry. The ethical issues which the
researcher address is the safety issues. The approach needed is by collecting the data
of safety regulation and accident in aviation industry. The data can be collected by
requesting to Airline Company, national transportation safety committee (KNKT),
and government regulation. The data can be compared between airline regulation
and government regulation about the safety regulation. After that, the researcher
can analysis what is the problem about the accident.
