Incense Stick Making

Introduction
Incense Stick is an aromatic mixture of charcoal which when
lighted gives out fragrance and smoke.
These are generally used for ceremonial purposes.
In India there is a huge potential market for incense sticks.
The Process
Firstly sticks are made from bamboo by cutting,
sizing and polishing. Then the sticks are colored
and dried in the sun light.
Secondly a paste of charcoal & Gokul dhup is
prepared by mixing water with the mixture.
Thirdly the paste is wrapped around the colored
sticks by hand and again dried in the sun light.
Fourthly those dried up sticks are dipped into
aromatic water for scenting and again dried under
the sun light.
Lastly the packaging is done as per requirements.
Candle Making
Introduction:
 Candle is a product which is inseparable from our
day to day life.
 It is used for decorative purposes also.
 Aromatic candles are also used healing purpose.
 Specially designed dices are required for making
candles.
The Process
 A special type of thread is inserted within the dices.
 After that paraffin is mixed with color and is boiled in
a tumbler and poured inside a kettle.
 From the kettle, the hot liquid paraffin is finally
poured inside the dices and kept for cooling.
 Once cooled the paraffin takes the shape of the
dice in which it was poured.
 Finally the packaging is done as per requirement.
