terkendali]. Mis. Di Telekomunikasi Seluler : low
downtime, speed conection, dll.
Virtual Organisations = suatu perusahaan yg terpisah
secara geografis, biasanya bekerja dg email & group-
ware, menyatu dg badan hukum perusahaan terkait.

Kaitan antara QoS and Business Metrics :
Wolter and van Moorsel (2001) membahas dampak penurunan
QoS thd profitability [daya-laba] dari e-services. Hal yg terkait
antara quality-of-service metrics (throughput, delay,
availability) and business metrics (revenue, costs).
Permasalahan :
1. Mampukah sistem menangani e-service dalam aspek
pengukuran, monitoring & visualisasi Q2B ?
2. Mampukah Manajer Bisnis mendapatkan informasi awal jika
QoS mulai diterapkan ?
3. Mampukah proses bisnis diterapkan untuk meningkatkan
keuntungan dalam kasus perubahan QoS ?

Kasus The LAURA Project :
LAURA – ‘Adaptive Zones for Interregional Electronic
Commerce based on the concepts of Request-Based VO and
sector-specific Service Level Agreements’
1. The Service Oriented Architecture is used for the Q2B
instrumentation framework.
2. It is based on a conceptual similarity to the RBVOs in a
dynamic network of business
3. It is a non-intrusive interceptor-based approach, orthogonal to
the business e-services. This approach is used for monitoring,
filtering, collecting and exchanging of QoS parameters.
4. The Q2B information exchange protocol is based on XML. Many
XML processing tools : transformation, data binding,
messaging, etc.), which are available from commercial vendor
and open source organisations.
