MENUNTUT ILMU
Menuntut ilmu adalah suatu usaha yang dilakukan
oleh seseorang untuk merubah tingkah laku dan 
perilaku kearah yang lebih baik, karena pada dasar
nya ilmu menunjukkan jalan menuju kebenaran
dan meninggalkan kebodohan.Seseorang harus
memulai dengan ilmu sebelum beramal, maksud
dari beramal adalah melakukan kegiatan atau 
melakukan suatu pekerjaan. Dalam melakukan 
pekerjaan manusia dituntut mengetahui ilmunya
 dari pekerjaan tersebut, karena dengan
mengetahui ilmunya pekerjaan akan lebih terarah
dan tidak berantakan.
 KEWAJIBAN MENUNTUT ILMU DALAM ISLAM

Di dalam Islam, menuntut ilmu merupakan perintah

sekaligus kewajiban. Manusia diperintahkan untuk
menuntut ilmu, karena dengan ilmu pengetahuan kita
bisa mencapai apa yang dicita-citakan baik di dunia
maupun di akhirat.
Apalagi sebagai seorang muslim itu wajib
hukumnya seperti dalam sebuah hadits
disebutkan bahwa Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam bersabda yang artinya menuntut ilmu
merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap muslim. Hadis
ini sahih, diriwayatkan dari beberapa sahabat
diantaranya: Anas bin Malik, Ibnu Abbas,
Ibnu Umar, Ali bin Abi Thalib.
PERINTAH MENUNTUT ILMU

• Kewajiban menuntut ilmu juga ditegaskan oleh hadist Rasulullah

Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam yang artinya “mencari ilmu itu wajub
hukumnya bagi muslimin dan muslimat” (HR.Ibnu abdil Bari). Secara
jelas hadis tersebut menyebutkan bahwa menuntut ilmu itu diwajibkan
bukan hanya pada laki-laki tetapi juga perempuan.
• Dan juga hadits rasulullah yang artinya “tuntutlah ilmu sampai ke
negeri Cina”. Dalam hadist ini Rasulullah menyuruh kita untuk
mencari ilmu dari berbagai dunia, walau jauh ilmu harus tetap dikejar.

KEUTAMAAN ORANG  Orang yang berilmu merupakan orang
yang terus menerus mengerjakan perintah

MENGEMBANGKAN ILMU
Allah SWT memerintahkan kepada hambanya untuk
terus menerus mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan
terutama ilmu mengenai agama. Al-Qur’an
memerintahkan bahwa niat atau motivasi dalam
mengembangkan pengetahuan ilmiah dan melakukan
penelitian dalam islam hendaknya karena mematuhi
perintah Allah SWT dan beribadah kepadaNya.
Jadi mengembangkan ilmu yang bersifat ilmiah tidak
dilarang, bahkan diperintahkan oleh Al-Qur’an selama
masih dikaitkan dengan islam atau dikembalikan kepada
motivasi menjalankan perintah Allah SWT dan ikhlas
kepedaNya dalam menunaikan ibadah dan taqwa yang
mencangkup segenap aktivitas sehari-hari
 MENGAMALKAN ILMU
Ilmu yang telah didapat dari usaha menuntut Dalam Al-Qur’an, Allah
ilmu adalah untuk di amalkan karena ilmu itu terjaga dan
tidak mudah hilang apabila telah diamalkan, terkhusus pada
berfirman yang artinya:

ANCAMAN ORANG YANG TIDAK MENGAMALKAN ILMUNYA
Dari Usamah bin Zaid, Nabi shallallahu
‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda yang artinya
“Ada seseorang yang didatangkan pada
hari kiamat lantas ia dilemparkan dalam
neraka. Usus-ususnya pun terburai di

tentang suatu ilmu, seperti keledai memutari
kemudian menyembu penggilingannyaLantas penghuni neraka
berkumpul di
