Latar Belakang Adopsi G-IDSS

Kebutuhan Scan Tool Isuzu untuk Jangka Waktu Mendatang
• GM memutuskan untuk mengembangkan PC-based scan tool. Sebagai hasil, Tech2 tidak menjadi
prioritas untuk pengembangan selanjutnya. Juga, pengembangan PC-based scan tool lambat dan
Isuzu tidak bisa tergantung pada jadwal pengembangan mereka.
→ Diskontinu pengembangan bersama GM
• Adopsi electronic control devices lebih menjadi konsentrasi untuk meningkatkan kontrol emisi dan
keamanan.
→ Skill yang lebih tinggi dibutuhkan untuk perbaikan.
• Jumlah scan tool dan peralatan lainnya dibutuhkan dikarenakan performa tinggi dari control module
protocols dan kendaraan OEM.

 Carry-over fungsi yang ada: Tech 2 functions (data display, data download & upload, programming)
 Koneksi melalui internet: Data correction & information distribution
