Teknologi adalah metode ilmiah untuk mencapai tujuan praktis;
ilmu pengetahuan terapan atau dapat pula diterjemahkan sebagai
keseluruhan sarana untuk menyediakan barang-barang yg
diperlukan bagi kelangsungan dan kenyamanan hidup manusia.
Dalam memasuki Era Industrialisasi, pencapaiannya sangat
ditentukan oleh penguasaan teknologi karena teknologi
adalah mesin penggerak pertumbuhan melalui industri. Sebagian
beranggapan teknologi adalah barang atau sesuatu yang baru.
namun, teknologi itu telah berumur sangat panjang dan
merupakan suatu gejala kontemporer. Setiap zaman memiliki

TEKNOLOGI
Secara konseptual, adanya teknologi berfungsi untuk
mempermudah manusia yang semakin hari, semakin tidak
memiliki waktu untuk mengerjakan hal-hal yang sifatnya rumit,
maka dari itu, manusia menciptakan sesuatu yang berawal dari
masalah lalu timbulnya sebuah karya yang dapat
mempermudah permasalahan tersebut.
Islam memandang bahwa agama dan pengetahuan teknologi
adalah suatu yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Dalam
mengembangkan ilmu teknologi bisa dikaji dalam Al-Qur’an,
seperti dalam surat Qs. Al-Anbiya ayat 80, Qs. Al-Mujadalah
ayat 11 yang menjelaskan konsep teknologi secara umum
 َ ‫ح ِصنَك ُم ِ ّمنۢ بَأ ْ ِسك ُْم ۖ ف ََه ْلأَنتُ ْم َٰش ِك ُر‬
‫ون‬ َّ ‫َو َعل َّ ْمن َٰ ُه َصن ْ َع َة ل َبُ ٍ ل‬
ْ ُ‫وسك ُْم لِت‬

Arti: Dan telah Kami ajarkan kepada Daud membuat baju besi
untuk kamu, guna memelihara kamu dalam peperanganmu; Maka
hendaklah kamu bersyukur (kepada Allah).
Quran Surat Al-Anbiya
Nabi Dawud ‘alaihis salam adalah orang pertama yang membuat
baju besi dan mengajarkannya, di mana sebelumnya hanya sebagai
lempengan-lempengan. Pengajaran Allah kepada Dawud tentang
Ayat 80
cara membuat baju besi dan pelunakannya menurut para mufassir
adalah perkara yang berada di luar kebiasaan manusia karena
sebagaimana dikatakan mereka, Allah melunakkan besi untuknya,
sehingga Beliau mengolahnya seperti tepung dan tanah tanpa perlu
dileburkan ke dalam api. Alasan mereka adalah firman Allah
Ta’ala, :Wa alannaa lahul hadiid” (Dan Kami lunakkan besi
untuknya), namun menurut Syaikh As Sa’diy, bahwa pelunakkan di
sini tidak berarti tanpa sebab. Oleh karena itu, menurutnya, bahwa
Allah mengajarkan kepada Dawud secara adat kebiasaan, yakni
dengan mengajarkan sebab-sebab yang dapat meleburkannya,
wallahu a’lam.

Apabila manusia mampu menghayati akan

secara benar dalam konteks tugas pengabdian
manusia melalui pemanfaatan teknologi
manusia tersebut, maka teknologi diyakini akan
membuat manusia dapat memperoleh
mampu meningkatkan kualitas pengabdiannya
kesenangan dan kebahagiaan hidup serta tetap
kepada Allah. Apabila berbagai kemajuan yang
dalam koridor kesenangan dan kebahagiaan
dicapai manusia diniatkan dan diarahkan untuk
yang halal, yang diridhai Allah..
kepentingan peningkatan kualitas pengabdiannya
kepada Allah, maka kemajuan yang dicapai itu
tidak membuat manusia menjadi lalai.

lebih sejahtera dibandingkan dengan negara lain

Bagi orang beriman, sekecil apapun nikmat yang
ia dapatkan dari rezeki halal yang diberikan Allah
kepadanya akan melahirkan rasa syukur
kepada‑Nya sebagai pemberi nikmat. Apalagi

melipat‑gandakan nikmat itu kepadanya, maka
rasa syukur kepada‑Nya pun juga akan berlipat
