 Locomotion
● Gerak dasar lokomotor merupakan salah satu
domain dari gerak dasar fundamental
(fundamental basic movement).
● Gerak dasar lokomotor diartikan sebagai
gerakan atau keterampilan yang
menyebabkan tubuh berpindah tempat,
sehingga dibuktikan dengan adanya
perpindahan tubuh (traveling) dari satu titik
ke titik lain.
 Gerak Locomotion
Adapun gerak dasar lokomotor alamiah tersebut meliputi
1. gerak dasar berjalan dan berlari,
2. gerak dasar melompat dan mendarat
3. gerak dasar tolakan, pantulan dan leaping serta hopping
4. gerak dasar berderap (galopping), sliding, dan skipping serta berbagai variasinya

Gerakan-gerakan inilah yang kemudian menjadi dasar bagi perkembangan

koordinasi gerakan yang melibatkan otot-otot besar (gross muscles),
pertumbuhan otot, daya tahan dan stamina
Gerak Dasar Berjalan

• Dalam pembahasan mengenai berjalan, maka istilah gait

merupakan istilah yang sering dimunculkan. Gait adalah
cara berjalan.
• Berjalan adalah suatu proses menghilangkan
keseimbangan dan mengembalikannya secara bergantian
ketika bergerak ke depan dalam posisi tegak.
 Fase berjalan
Gerak Dasar Dalam berjalan dikenal ada 2 fase, yaitu fase menapak
Berjalan (stance phase) dan fase mengayun ( swing fase)

1 Fase Menapak (Stance Phase)

Fase menapak (60%) dimulai dari heel
strike / heel on, foot flat, mid stance , heel
off dan diakhiri dengan toe off.

Fase Mengayun (Swing Phase)

2 Fase mengayun (40%) dimulai dari toe off,
swing dan diakhiar dengan heel strike
(accelerasi, mid swing, decelerasi).
 Gerak Dasar Berlari

• Berlari adalah pergerakan kaki yang cepat secara

bergantian, pada saat yang sekejap, kedua kaki
meninggalkan bumi sebelum salah satu
kaki segera bertumpu kembali.
 Fase berlari
Gerak Dasar Dalam berlari dikenal ada 3 fase, yaitu fase menapak
(stance phase) dan fase mengayun ( swing phase), fase
Berlari support (double support)
Fase Menapak (Stance Phase)
1 Fase menapak (60%) dimulai dari heel

heel off dan diakhiri dengan toe off.
Fase Mengayun (Swing Phase)
2 Fase mengayun (40%) dimulai dari toe off,
swing dan diakhiar dengan heel strike

3 Fase Suppport (Double Support)
Fase double support ini akan semakin singkat
jika kecepatan jalan bertambah, bahkan pada
berlari fase double support ini sama sekali
hilang, dan justru terjadi fase dimana kedua kaki
tidak menginjak lantai.
Berlari
• Durasi setiap fase tergantung dari kecepatan
berlari, misalnya pada jogging: stance phase lebih
cepat daripada swing phase.
• Pada lari jarak jauh, stance phase sama dengan
swing phase.
• Sementara pada lari sprint, durasi stance phase
lebih pendek bila dibandingkan dengan swing
phase (Bird, 2010).
• Waktu yang ditempuh pada support phase menurun
sesuai dengan peningkatan kecepatan lari
(Hamilton et al, 2008)
Melompat dan Mendarat

• Melompat adalah suatu gerak lokomotor yang membuat tubuh

terlontar ke udara yang menyebabkan tubuh lepas kontak dari
tanah atau dari alat dan sesaat menimbulkan fase melayang.
• Lompatan biasanya dilakukan dengan dua arah; pertama,
menaikkan tubuh secara vertikal (lurus ke atas) untuk mencapai
ketinggian. Kedua, menaikkan tubuh dengan momentum
horisontal untuk memperoleh jangkauan jarak yang jauh.
 Fase melompat
Melompat Dimana dalam melompat dibagi menjadi tiga fase yaitu
fase preparation (down), fase propulsive (up), dan fase
flight (McGinnis, 2013).
