BERAGAMA,
TANGGUNG JAWAB
SIAPA?
MARAKNYA sikap ekstrem dalam beragama YANG tidak
sesuai dengan esensi ajaran agama itu sendiri,
mengakibatkan lahirnya konflik, rasa benci, intoleransi,
dan bahkan peperangan yang TERJADI ANTAR UMAT
BERAGAMA.
 Maka sudah seharusnya kita sadar dan peduli akan
pentingnya moderasi beragama demi menjaga kerukunan
antar umat beragama di indonesia.
Lantas, tolak ukur moderasi
beragama itu seperti apa?
Pertama, kemanusiaan

Apabila ada saudara kita yang atas nama agama,

kebebasan berpikir atau berpendapat, kemerdekaan, tetapi
menghasilkan hal yang merendahkan harkat derajat
martabat kemanusiaan, atau bahkan menghilangkan
eksistensi kemanusiaan,
ini sudah berlebihan atau ekstrem.
Kedua, kesepakatan bersama

Dalam konteks bernegara, yang menjadi kesepakatan

bersama adalah Pancasila. Ketika ada yang
mengatasnamakan kebebasan, kemerdekaan, atau bahkan
HAM, kemudian melanggar kesepakatan bersama, itu
sudah berlebihan
dan tidak bisa ditolerir.
Ketiga, ketertiban umum

Jika sudah menyebabkan terganggunya ketertiban umum,

itu sudah bisa dinilai beragama secara berlebihan.
Misalnya, jika seseorang memaksakan diri beribadah
di tengah keramaian lalu lintas, yang menyebabkan
kemacetan, bahkan rawan menimbulkan kecelakaan.
Lalu, tanggung jawab siapa untuk
menerapkan moderasi beragama?
Moderasi Beragama yang tengah digaungkan Kementerian
Agama perlu mendapat dukungan dari berbagai pihak.
Tokoh agama, guru, keluarga, bahkan kaum mileniAL
memiliki peran penting dalam kampanye DAN
MENERAPKAN moderasi beragama.
Tokoh agama
 Moderasi beragama memerlukan dukungan dari
para tokoh agama, da’i, ormas serta lembaga keagamaan,
untuk senantiasa menghadirkan nilai-nilai agama
yang moderat di tengah-tengah masyarakat.
Guru
 Guru dapat memberi pemahaman akan kemajemukan
agama yang ada di Indonesia kepada peserta didiknya. Hal
ini sangat penting membekali para siswa yang akan
menjadi pemimpin bangsa dengan pemahaman keagamaan
yang damai, toleran,
dan menghargai keragaman.
keluarga
 Keluarga sebagai unit terkecil dalam masyarakat
menjadi strategis untuk membangun masyarakat.
Melalui pendidikan dari keluarga, moderasi beragama
dapat mewujudkan harmonisasi di masyarakat.
Kaum
milenial
Selain para orang tua, kaum milenial juga memiliki
peran besar dalam menyuarakan moderasi beragama.
Sebab, kaum milenial punya dua modal besar yaitu
nalar kritis dan inisiatif untuk bergerak mandiri.
Apakah pemerintah memiliki peran
juga untuk menguatkan
moderasi beragama ini?
 Tentu, Dalam rangka menciptakan masyarakat yang
moderat dalam beragama, pemerintah perlu hadir
memfasilitasi terciptanya ruang publik untuk menciptakan
interaksi umat beragama.
Jangan sampai pemerintah melahirkan regulasi dengan
sentimen agama tertentu yang diskriminatif, dan
diberlakukan secara umum di ruang publik. Kehadiran
pemerintah
harus memfasilitasi, bukan mendiskriminasi.
Tegaknya moderasi beragama perlu dikawal bersama, baik
oleh orang per orang maupun lembaga, baik masyarakat
maupun negara. Kelompok beragama yang moderat harus
lantang bersuara dan tidak lagi memilih menjadi mayoritas
yang diam.
 Keterlibatan semua kalangan juga akan sangat penting
dalam upaya memperkuat moderasi beragama. Setiap
komponen bangsa harus yakin bahwa Indonesia memiliki
modal sosial untuk memperkuat moderasi beragama.
Modal sosial itu berupa nilai-nilai budaya lokal, kekayaan
keragaman adat istiadat, tradisi bermusyawarah, serta
budaya gotong-royong yang diwarisi masyarakat
Indonesia secara turun temurun.
 Modal sosial itu harus kita rawat, demi menciptakan
kehidupan yang harmoni dalam keragaman budaya, etnis,
dan agama.
Jika dipikul bersama, Indonesia dapat menjadi inspirasi
dunia dalam mempraktikkan moderasi beragama.
