 KOMPETENSI DASAR

1. Bersyukur atas keutuhan alam ciptaan.

2. Peduli dan bertanggung jawab untuk memelihara keutuhan alam ciptaan.
3. Memahami sikap dan pandangan Gereja atas berbagai keprihatinan tentang keutuhan
alam ciptaan.
4. Melakukan aktifitas (misalnya menanam pohon/bunga/menuliskan refleksi) yang
berkaitan dengan keutuhan alam ciptaan.
 Tujuan Pembelajaran

1. Mensyukuri kekayaan alam dengan memanfaatkan sesuai kehendak Allah.

2. Memelihara lingkungan sekolah dan rumah.
3. Menjelaskan pandangan Gereja terkait dengan makna alam bagi hidup manusia.
4. Menuliskan hasil refleksi tentang pentingnya alam bagi kehidupan manusia.

 Kejadian 1:1-25
Allah Menciptakan Langit dan Bumi serta isinya

1:1 Pada mulanya a   a  Allah menciptakan  1  b

pagi, p  p  itulah hari pertama 4   4 . 1:6 Berfirmanlah q   q  Allah: "Jadilah cakrawala  r   r  di tengah segala

 s  untuk memisahkan air dari air." 1:7 Maka Allah menjadikan cakrawala  5   5  dan Ia
memisahkan air yang ada di bawah cakrawala itu dari air yang ada di atasnya.  t  Dan jadilah  t 

demikian. u   u  1:8 Lalu Allah menamai v   v  cakrawala itu langit.  w   w  Jadilah petang dan jadilah

pagi, x  x  itulah hari kedua. 1:9 Berfirmanlah Allah: "Hendaklah segala air yang di bawah

langit berkumpul pada satu tempat,  y   y  sehingga kelihatan yang kering.  z   z " Dan jadilah

demikian.  1:10 Lalu Allah menamai  yang kering itu darat, dan kumpulan air  c

 e  1:11 Berfirmanlah Allah: "Hendaklah

itu di cakrawala untuk menerangi bumi, 1:18 dan untuk menguasai siang dan malam,  w   w  dan

untuk memisahkan terang dari gelap. Allah melihat bahwa semuanya itu baik.  x  1:19 Jadilah  x 

petang dan jadilah pagi, y   y  itulah hari keempat.  1:20 Berfirmanlah Allah: "Hendaklah dalam

air berkeriapan makhluk z   z  yang hidup, dan hendaklah burung beterbangan di atas bumi

melintasi cakrawala. a " 1:21 Maka Allah menciptakan b 

 a   b  binatang-binatang laut c   c  yang besar

dan segala jenis makhluk hidup yang bergerak, yang berkeriapan  d   d  dalam air, dan segala

jenis e  burung yang bersayap. Allah melihat bahwa semuanya itu baik.  f 
 e   f  1:22 Lalu Allah

memberkati semuanya 8  itu, firman-Nya: "Berkembangbiaklah dan bertambah banyaklah

serta penuhilah air dalam laut, dan hendaklah burung-burung di bumi  g   g  bertambah banyak." 

1:23 Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, h   h  itulah hari kelima. 1:24 Berfirmanlah Allah:

"Hendaklah bumi mengeluarkan segala jenis  i   i  makhluk j  j  yang hidup, ternak dan binatang

melata dan segala jenis binatang liar." Dan jadilah  k  demikian. 1:25 Allah menjadikan segala
 k 

jenis binatang liar l  l  dan segala jenis ternak dan segala jenis  m   m  binatang melata di muka bumi.

Allah melihat bahwa semuanya itu baik.   

 Kejadian 3:17-19
Manusia Jatuh ke dalam Dosa

:17 Lalu firman-Nya kepada manusia itu: "Karena engkau mendengarkan

perkataan isterimu dan memakan dari buah pohon, yang telah
Kuperintahkan kepadamu: Jangan makan dari padanya, f  maka terkutuklah g
 
 tanah h  karena engkau; dengan bersusah payah i  engkau akan mencari
rezekimu dari tanah seumur hidupmu: j  3:18 semak duri dan rumput duri k
 
 yang akan dihasilkannya bagimu, dan tumbuh-tumbuhan di padang l  akan
menjadi makananmu; 3:19 dengan berpeluh m  engkau akan mencari
makananmu, n  sampai engkau kembali lagi menjadi tanah, karena dari
situlah engkau diambil; sebab engkau debu dan engkau akan kembali o
 
 menjadi debu."
 Kesimpulan
 Kasih Tuhan begitu luar biasa kepada manusia. Kasih itu tamoak dalam kisah
penciptaan, dimana sebelum manusia diciptakan, Allah telah menciptakan segala
sesuatu yang diperlukan untuk kelangsungan hidup manusia. Allah telah
menciptakan alam dan isinya tertata dengan sungguh amat baik.
 Berdasarkan Kitab Kejadian, semua yang telah diciptakan Tuhan diperuntukan bagi
kelangsungan hidup semua makhluk termasuk manusia. Maka manusia, menjadi
bagian dari alam dan alam juga menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari manusia.
Manusia membutuhkan alam untuk pelestarian hidupnya.
 Sejak Adam dan Hawa berdosa, lingkungan di sana menjadi rusak dan hubungan
Adam dan Hawa dengan Taman Firdaus dengan segala kebutuhan hidupnya yang
serba ada untuk menjamin hidupnya, manusia Adam dan Hawa terpaksa harus
bekerja keras untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya..
 Betapa besar manfaat alam bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia, maka manusia harus
dapat memanfaatkan alam secara bijak tanpa harus merusaknya.
