CorelDRAW is a comprehensive vector-based drawing

program that makes it easy to create professional artwork from simple
logos to technical illustrations.

CorelDRAW's tools are designed to meet the demands of the

graphic arts professional.

CorelDRAW is a vector-based drawing program which is mostly
used for creating new designs or combining new designs with existing
bitmap pictures.

Adobe Photoshop works only with bitmap pictures and it’s used
for retouching and composing images.

1. Select the line with Pick Tool.
2. Change tool – take Shape Tool <F10>.
3. Select the node where object have to be broken or double-
click on line to add new node.
4. Right click on selected node to open menu and then click on
Break Apart.
5. Line is broken now; nods can be moved independently, but
both lines are still one object.
6. To break lines into two objects take Pick Tool. New bar
appear above the menus. Click on Break Apart <ctrl-k>.
7. Object are apart.

Note: Be careful that line is always selected during the whole

procedure!!!

1. Select the line with Pick Tool.
2. Select both lines that have to be connected (use shift if that
helps).
3. Right click on line to open menu and click on Combine
<ctrl-l>.
4. Take Shape Tool <F10> and move node that have to be
connected close to each other.
5. Select both nodes.
6. Right click on one of the nods to open menu and click on
Join.
7. Nodes are connected and both lines are one object now.

Note: Be careful that lines are always selected during the whole
procedure!!!

 CorelDRAW Tutorials: Corel Corporation's
flagship graphics suite featuring
CorelDRAW® and PHOTO-PAINT®
provides unparalleled value and flexibility
and a huge collection of fonts and clipart.
These tutorials show but a fraction of the
possibilities for you to explore and create.
CorelDRAW is one of my most frequently
used graphics applications. I can do things
with CorelDRAW that simply can't be done
with any other graphics program.
  During installation it becomes clear that the
X3 Suite has now shrunk to just three main
applications: DRAW, PHOTO-PAINT (see
boxout) and CAPTURE, an uninspired
screen capture utility. Most strikingly, this
means that the Corel RAVE application for
creating vector Flash animations has been
axed after just two releases.
