Remedios

AIDS
Foundation
Upon the emergence of AIDS in the
90’s several doctors together with some
volunteers realize the need for an
organization that would educate, give free
clinical consultations and screening tests,
and counselling to those at risk and those
who already have the disease. Thus, on the
year 1991, Remedios AIDS Foundation, Inc
was born. And the best place to have its
headquarters? Of course, no other than the
“Red District” of Manila, the Malate area.

How did you become a member of this org?
What makes it fulfilling?
What are the difficulties?
What are the joys?
Would we want to join RAF?
On how we feel about RAF and
the interview?
What inspires you to join RAF
and discourages you?
We learned a lot of things in
this interview…
Did it change the way we want
to do things in medicine?
“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And
what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk
humbly with your God.
Mic 6:8
