 Bilangan Prima
Bilangan Prima adalah Suatu bilangan yang
hanya memiliki dua faktor perkalian, yaitu
bilangan 1 dan bilangan itu sendiri. Contoh
bilangan prima adalah 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17,
19,...
Faktor Prima adalah sebuah faktor perkalian
dari suatu bilangan dimana faktor tersebut
berupa bilangan prima.
 Faktorisasi Prima

Faktorisasi prima merupakan langkah-langkah yang digunakan dalam

menentukan faktor perkalian bilangan prima dari suatu bilangan

Bilangan Dituliskan sebagai Faktor prima

perkalian faktor bilangan

12 3×4 3 dan 4

3×2×2 3 dan 2

Bilangan 3 adalah faktor prima, tetapi bilangan 4 bukan faktor Prima.

Namun, 4 = 2 × 2. Dan 2 merupakan faktor prima. Sehingga
dapat dituliskan 12 = 2 × 2 × 3 dengan faktor-faktor tersebut
berurutan dari kiri ke kanan. Dapat dikatakan bahwa 12
diekspresikan dalam faktor-faktor prima dan disebut sebagai
faktorisasi prima.
Cara menentukan Faktorisasi
prima dari suatu bilangan
dapat dilakukan dengan dua
cara yaitu:
