Terlepas dari segala hal yang telah disebutkan diatas, ada beberapa kejadian-kejadian buruk di masa
pemerintahan ini yang
Apa itu Daulah Umayyah ?
Daulah Umayyah adalah Negara Islam yang memiliki sejarah besar dan pengaruh yang luas dalam penyebaran
agama islam. Daulah ini berhasil mempersatukan wilayah dari Cina hingga Prancis bagian Selatan di bawah satu
naungan kekhalifahan Islam, Kekhalifahan Bani Umayyah

Masa ini adalah masa keemasan Islam, masa dimana generasi terbaik Islam hidup bahkan di antara mereka
menduduki kursi pemerintahan. Masa ini adalah masa dimana para sahabat Nabi masih hadir membimbing umat.
Masa ini adalah masa berkumpulnya tiga generasi terbaik; Sahabat, Tabi’in Dan Tabi’ Tabi’in. Rasulullah
Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

“Sebaik-baik manusia ialah pada generasiku, kemudian generasi berikutnya, kemudian generasi berikutnya.” (HR.
al-Bukhari dan Muslim).

Dari negeri-negeri yang ditaklukkan, Daulah Umayyah lahirlah putra-putra terbaik Islam semisal Imam Bukhari,
Muslim, an-Nasa-i, Tirmidzi, Ibnu Khaldun, ath-Thabari, adz-Dzahabi dan tokoh-tokoh lainnya.
