Tahapan penyapihan :
1. ASI eksklusif :
- “on demand”
- monitor kenaikan BB :
trimester 1 : 25-30 g/h = 200 g/mg = 750-900 g/bln
trimester 2 : 20 g/h = 150 g/mg = 600 g/bln
trimester 3 : 15 g/h = 100 g/mg = 400 g/bln
trimester 4 : 10 g/h = 50-75 g/mg = 200-300 g/bln
- bila kenaikan BB tidak sesuai :
cari penyebabnya -----
Apakah ibu dlm kead. sehat / sakit?
Makanan khusus :
- bentuk : cair, lunak, padat
- jenis : jus, biskuit, bubur susu, nasi tim
- pemberian bertahap : konsistensi, jumlah/kali
dan frekwensi/hari

Weaning
• Physical readiness :
- extrusion reflex < / -
- oral motor skills :
- from suck to swallow solids
- transfer food from front to back of the
tongue
- able to hold the head up without support
- sitting independently and maintaining
balance while using hands to reach and
grasp objects

• Psychologic readiness :
- advanced eating behaviour : from reflexive and
imitative to more independent and exploratory
- by 6 mos : the infant is able to indicate :
- a desire for food by opening mouth
- hunger by leaning forward
- disinterest or satiety by leaning back/turn away
