LATAR BELAKANG
Perkawinan merupakan pertalian dan perjalinan dua insan yang diikat dalam sebuah perjanjian
yang disebut (mitsaqan ghalidzan). Dalam Islam, ada proses pengenalan untuk menemukan
pasangan yang baik pada laki-laki dan perempuan untuk membangun keluarga yang serasi dan
harmonis.
Taaruf menjadi sebuah langkah yang dapat diambil sebagai assessment awal untuk mempersempit
ruang-ruang penyesalan setelah menikah dan meneguhkan kesadaran diri untuk menerima
pasangan apa adanya serta bersikap arif dalam menyikapi perkawinan dengan cara yang elegan.
Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang disertasi dengan kecanggihan teknologi informasi, pola
taaruf yang selama ini berlangsung secara konvensional dan mengandalkan pertemuan beralih
menjadi berbasis online.
