Perbedaan Gagasan Utama dan Kalimat Utama

Gagasan utama adalah gagasan atau ide yang menjadi tema

menjadi inti atau pokok bahasan dalam suatu paragraf.

Gempa bumi terjadi saat batuan di dalam bumi mengalami tekanan yang sangat

yaitu lempeng samudera dan lempeng benua. Ketika lempeng saling bergesek dan
bertumbukan, akan menghasilkan gelombang dahsyat, yang kita rasakan sebagai
gempa bumi.

Penjelasan:
Cuplikan teks tersebut merupakan jawaban atas pertanyaan “Mengapa gempa bumi
bisa terjadi?”.
Berdasarkan pengembangannya, teks tersebut disusun dengan pola kausalitas
(sebab-akibat).
