MITIGASI ADALAH......

Upaya yang dilakukan untuk


mengurangi resiko yang ditimbulkan
akibat bencana terhadap masyarakat
dikawasan rawan bencana.
PRABENCANA / SEBELUM BENCANA
• Menyiapkan rencana untuk penyelamatan diri apabila gempa
bumi terjadi. Rencana ini amat perlu terutama di daerah 010
dengan riwayat gempa bumi yang cukup sering terjadi.
• Dalam menghadapi gempa bumi, seseorang perlu

mempelajari latihan penyelamatan saat gempa bumi terjadi.
Hal ini akan meminimalisir jatuhnya korban jiwa. Latihan
tersebut di antaranya seperti merunduk, perlindungan
terhadap kepala, berpegangan ataupun dengan bersembunyi

terjadi. Memiliki beberapa alat penyelamatan sangat

standar, dan persediaan obat-obatan.
• Perlunya membangun konstruksi rumah yang tahan
terhadap guncangan gempa bumi dengan fondasi yang kuat.
Selain itu, Anda bisa merenovasi bagian bangunan yang

sudah rentan.
• Memperhatikan daerah rawan gempa bumi dan aturan
seputar penggunaan lahan yang dikeluarkan oleh
pemerintah.
SAAT TERJADI GEMPA I
Berikut merupakan hal yang bisa Anda lakukan saat berada di dalam
bangunan, seperti rumah, sekolah ataupun bangunan bertingkat:
• Guncangan gempa bumi akan terasa beberapa saat. Selama jangka

waktu tersebut, upayakan keselamatan diri Anda dengan cara
berlindung di bawah meja untuk menghindari dari benda-benda

yang mungkin berjatuhan dan jauhi jendela kaca. Lindungi kepala
dengan bantal atau pun helm, dan bisa pula berdiri di bawah pintu.
Bila sudah terasa aman, segera lari keluar rumah.
• Apabila Anda sedang memasak, segera matikan kompor serta cabut

dan matikan semua peralatan yang dialiri listrik untuk mencegah
terjadinya kebakaran.

• Bila keluar rumah, perhatikan kemungkinan pecahan kaca, genteng,
atau material lain. Tetap lindungi kepala dan segera menuju ke

lapangan terbuka, jauhi tiang, pohon, atau sumber listrik atau
gedung yang mungkin roboh dan menimpa anda.
• Jangan menggunakan lift apabila sudah terasa guncangan. Gunakan
tangga darurat untuk evakuasi keluar bangunan. Apabila sudah di
dalam elevator, tekan semua tombol atau gunakan interphone untuk

panggilan kepada pengelola bangunan.
• Kenali bagian bangunan yang memiliki struktur kuat, seperti pada
sudut bangunan.
• Apabila Anda berada di dalam bangunan yang memiliki petugas
keamanan, ikuti instruksi evakuasi.

Apabila saat terjadi gempa bumi Anda sedang


berada di dalam mobil, inilah langkah yang perlu
