BAROMETER
Barometer merupakan instrumen ilmiah yang
digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan atmosfer,
atau disebut juga dengan tekanan barometrik.
Dengan kata lain, fungsi barometer adalah alat
untuk mengukur tekanan udara di bumi, baik di
atas maupun di bawah permukaan air laut. Alat
ini ditemukan oleh ilmuwan Italia, Evagelista
Torricelli pada tahun 1643. Awalnya, Torricelli
mempelajari karakteristik merkuri ketika
ditempatkan dalam ruang hampa, kemudian
terciptalah alat barometer pertama yang mampu
mengukur tekanan udara.

FLOWMETER
Flowmeter adalah salah satu alat yang dipakai
untuk mengetahui aliran material (gas, cair)
dalam suatu jalur aliran pada waktu tertentu.
Alat ukur ini akan menunjukkan data ukuran
berupa angka. Flow meter dapat digunakan
sebagai pedoman acuan untuk mengetahui
besar kecilnya kebutuhan air atau udara. Hal ini
berguna untuk menyesuaikan aliran kebutuhan
mesin terhadap aliran udara atau air. Sehingga
suatu mesin tidak lagi kekurangan air maupun
udara untuk melakukan kinerjanya.  Flow meter
itu sendiri adalah sebuah alat yang digunakan
untuk mengetahui suatu aliran matrial (liquid,
gas, powder) dalam suatu jalur aliran.
