1996 HUL introduces branded atta; Surf Excel launched. 1998 Pond's India Ltd., merges with HUL. HUL acquires Lakme brand. 2002 HUL enters Ayurvedic health & beauty centre category with the Ayush range & Ayush Therapy Centres. 2003 2004 Launch of Hindustan Lever Network; Launch of "Pureit" water purifiers

2007 Company name formally changed to Hindustan Unilever Limited 2008 HUL completes 75 years on 17th October 2008

THE STAR Program

HUL is partnering with Maadhyam for delivering a summer internship program designed for aspiring sales and marketing graduates across various institutes in the country.

Selection criteria-Every aspirant will have to take a online selection test.Only candidates who pass will be selected Duration of the internship : 2 Months/8 Weeks Certification :On Successful Completion the interns will be provided with certificate of Summer Internship Start date: to be decided in consultation with the institute

THE STAR Program- Stipend & Incentive structure

A Basic Stipend Rs 3000 for 8 weeks

Incentives upto Rs 5000 per month(depends on purely sales target achievement)

NOTE-Basic stipend will be paid subject to the following parameters: 100% attendance for all 8 weeks Adherence to the calling sheet(no of calls made)
