INTRODUCTION
Nithyaa Nanthaa Rao a/l Nagasvarao Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Mechatronics Currently pursuing 3rd year Internship program is for 3 months Supervisor- Mr. Wyatt Watson (Head of Engineering Department) MTD (Manufacturing Technology Process)

 In general, producing silicon wafers and solar wafers Came to Malaysia in 1970 First location in Asian semiconductor market There are 3 branches in Malaysia- Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Kuching.

Built in 1970 Only do the process such as wire saw, edge profiling, laser mark, wafer lapping, wafer etching, wafer polishing, and wafer cleaning Producing the wafers of the size 100mm, 125mm, and 150mm

General Manufacturing Process of Silicon Wafer

OBJECTIVE
Part of the pre-requisite to be completed to get the honor of degree To learn more the real world of working industry and gain experience To learn new things which will be helpful in the future

PROJECT
Task 1- Programming the Wax Dispenser of Mounting Area (Arm of the Robot) Task 2- Transferring the images of wafer defection displayed on the CCTV monitor from the Hologenix Magic Mirror (used as wafer inspection) machine) to the hard drives of the computer

Task 1
Wax Dispenser- Programming can be done using the software PacCom or Hyper Terminal There 33 commands for this programming First time trial, PacCom software was unable to be used, so it is replaced with the software Hyper Terminal Both program work on the same commands

 RS 232 cable is used as intercommunication to upload or download the program Below shows the programming code:

Task 2
Hologenix machine plays role as detecting the defected area on the surface of wafer Images are being processed on the Makyoh controller The images need to be displayed on the laptop or pc

 The solution is using the Video Capture Card Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus Video Capture Cable Simple configuration- A Coxial cable adapter and RCA cables are used Makyoh controller has been provided a port of camera out which uses Coxial port as connector

Earlier Problems
First by using S-cable, the problem was Scable port is only for External Video-In, so no images can be transferred out from Makyoh Controller Second is wrong selection of cables, instead of Coxial cable, the Coxial adapter was needed in order to join with RCA cable
