Under the Esteemed Guidance of Mr. N. SRAVAN KUMAR Carried out us by us at NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIAL CO-ORPORATION LIMTED
OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of our project is to implement mobile charging device by solar based energy in rural areas
Solar based mobile charger for rural areas can be used mostly in the places where electricity is rarely available (power cuts are very frequently) and it is mostly useful for the people who living in the rural areas.

Power Supply
The main purpose of using a power supply unit is to provide the desired Voltage by using a Step Down Transformer and a combination of Bridge Rectifier and Voltage Regulator.
230V AC 50Hz
D.C output
Bridge Rectifier
Filter
Regulator
Usually, DC voltages are required to operate various electronic equipment and these voltages are 5V, 9V or 12V. But these voltages cannot be obtained directly. Thus the a.c input available at the mains supply i.e., 230V is to be brought down to the required voltage level.
RECTIFIER:
The output from the transformer is fed to the rectifier. It converts A.C. into pulsating D.C.
The diodes are arranged in such a way that it looks like in the form of a bridge .
FILTER:
The
purpose of using a capacitive filter is to remove the ripples and it smoothens the D.C output. The output which is collected at the end of the filter is a pure D.C voltage with out any noise in the output.
Voltage Regulator:
A
voltage regulator is an electrical regulator designed to automatically maintain a constant voltage level
These regulators can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation.
Solar Panel:A solar panel (photovoltaic module or photovoltaic panel) is a packaged interconnected assembly of solar cells , also known as photovoltaic.
A single solar panel can only produce a limited amount of power, many installations contain several panels.
We conclude that our project is to implement mobile charging device by solar based energy in rural areas where the electric power is not available all the time. We can carry to other places like forest areas where there is no power. Solar energy is a renewable source. Solar phones use the easily available solar energy instead of DC power unlike other mobiles to charge their battery. These phones are ecofriendly as these are manufactured by using renewable source. The system can be carried along with us while travelling to different places so that we charge devices like cell phones, mp3 players etc by using solar energy
