Plant Visits
A day long plant visit to dantal hydraulics, manesar, was organized by the department on 16th of December, 2010. It was an excellent learning experience for the students as the C.E.O., Director and Other plant mangers explained the manufacturing processes, types of product, their exports, innovation, research and business plans to the students.
Industrial Trip
Nahan is a small town right of the lush green
mountains of Himachal Pradesh. The amazing beauty of nahan conquers the hearts the very moment one steps in to its realm. The town is situated right atop the stunning Shiwalik Hills. It was an industrial visit to RUCHIRA PAPERS LTD, Kala Amb. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of Kraft paper and writing and printing papers.
Fest: Convergence
The Corporate festival is organized by the students of
PGDIM every year. It is an inter-college mega event which creates linkages with other B-Schools across the city by student participation in various events. The festival includes the following: Mr. Ceo Mock Stock- a virtual trading game Ad Mad show Graffiti Mr. Rocket Singh
Conclusion
The course helps in making students aquatint to
modern concept, techniques, analytical tools and computer skills which would help them to organize and manage the export and international marketing functions in the more professional, efficient and effective manner. Most importantly, the programme aims to develop candidate suitable for entry level managerial positions in the field of marketing.
