 Present Tense

It denotes the action taking place at

the present moment. It can
be categorized into four forms:--
Present indefinite
Present continuous
Present perfect
Present perfect continuous
 PRESENT INDEFINITE
Subject + v1 + object.

Subject + v1, s, es + object.

E.g. :-
I sing a song.
He sings a song.
 PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Subject + is, am, are + object.

E.g. :-
I am singing a song
He is not singing a song.
Are they playing football?
 PRESENT PERFECT

Subject + has ,have + v3 + object.

E.g. :-
I have done my duty.
He has written a letter.
Have they not done their work?
 PRESENT PERFECT
CONTINUOUS
Subject+has,have+been+v1ing+
period of time point of time.
E.g:-
He has been working in this office for the
last two years.
I have not been residing in this house
since 1992.
Have you not been playing volleyball for
thirty minutes?

They had been waiting for the train since

I had not been coming to school for
seven days.

 FUTURE INDEFINITE
Subject + will,shall + v1 +object
E.g. :-
I shall write a letter.
They will watch football match on television.
 FUTURE CONTINUOUS

They will be watching T,V.
We shall be enjoying our trip to Shimla.
They will not be going with us.

Double action :First action in future
perfect and later action in present
indefinite.
