1.Impact of Quality in manufacturing Industries.

Focus on Quality
Manufacturing industries are now

becoming more quality conscious.


Mainly due to a demand for overall

higher quality of products.


Brands are becoming more similar,

so highest quality achievement and its impact in the market is not so easy.
Several studies have been conducted in China,

Japan, USA, Canada and Germany to examine quality management and its practices.

realization that its lifeblood is its customers.


Virtually all quality management approaches,

regardless of being product or service oriented, focus on the customer.


Customers cannot be achieved without quality. No business can exist without providing quality

in their products. Because quality of the product is fundamental to survival.

Measurement of quality
Quality can be measured through customer

satisfaction, employee satisfaction, employee service quality and organizational performance.


Customer satisfaction can be measured

through word of mouth, feedback forms and repetitive buying.


Employee satisfaction can be achieved by

providing proper safety, relevant work assignments, incentives etc

measured by the efficiency and responsiveness that it delivers to the customers and through the companys bottom line.
Similarly, there are three views for describing

the overall quality of a product.


First is the view of the manufacturer, who is

primarily concerned with the design, engineering, and manufacturing processes involved in fabricating the product.

Second is the view of the consumer or user. To

consumers, a high-quality product is one that well satisfies their preferences and expectations.
Third is the view relating to quality, means to

consider the product itself as a system and to incorporate those characteristics that pertain directly to the operation and functionality of the product.

To think about the lifetime worth of a loyal Benchmark continuously. Outsource the job when they do not have

Organizations must have QA/QC department to

ensure improvements and consistency in quality of their products.


Quality Control is a proactive control of the

actual processing of the product which typically requires laboratory testing and monitoring.
Factory can rework the goods itself, and will be

more careful in the future.

Safety First
Safety experts stress that accidents are

not random occurrences.


Safety management practices in

industries are a very important subject of concern.


They happen for a reason, usually resulting

from interactions among people, machines and their environments.

Non -compliance of Safety

shall result in severe injury that may lead to death and occurrence of extra costs in terms of re-installation and re-purchasing of equipments and materials.
Safety accidents are reduced only when

organizations give preference to its HSE department.


Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipments) is

necessary in the industry.
