HOLY QURAN THROWS LIGHT ON THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION:


In Holy Quran, it is also stated the importance of education in the first five ayahs of SURAH ALAQ: 1. Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 2. Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 3. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 4. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)], 5. Has taught man that which he knew not.

The Importance of Education can be best described by the sayings of Holy Prophet who said that:
Get education whether you need to go to China. On the other hand he also said that ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE IS BINDING UPON ALL MUSLIMS, WHETHER MALE OR FEMALE.

Acquire knowledge, because he who acquires it, in the way of the Lord, performs an act of piety; who speaks of it praises the Lord; who seeks it, adores God, who dispenses instruction in it, bestows alms; and who imparts it to its fitting objects, performs an act of devotion to God.

Human Resources is a Term used to describe the individuals who make up the workforce of an organization. AND the best utilization of the skills of the human resource is known as the

HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT.

AIMS OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

OBJECTIVES :
1. Develop institutional and technical models for poverty reduction, sustainable, equitable and engendered development; 2. Raise the incomes and quality of life of people, especially the poorest of the poor men and women, living in its programmed area, so that their living standard improves. 3. Provide an effective and cost-efficient service delivery mechanism for the government and the donor agencies in order to reach the rural poor. 4. Support the decentralization efforts of the govt.

HRD is needed to bring about system-wide changes: The important human relationships are those which are related to achieving the organization objectives, i.e., getting the job done. For being effective in human relationships one needs to be more rational and logical in his behavior rather than emotional.

Provides information for improving leadership, knowledge, communication skills and attitudes. It helps a person handle stress, tension, frustration and conflicts. It also helps a person develop speaking and listening skills. Helps eliminate fear in attempting new tasks.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF EDUCATION IN HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT?


Well certainly those who are educated are the ones who are more liable to carry on technological advances in society. Educated ones are those who make policy and those who produce literal works for the most part. Those who are uneducated are more liable to follow orders rather than lead. They are the manufacturing force of society, carry the hard physical labor jobs or those that carry unskilled labor. Education also shapes morals in a way and in turn it shapes the way he/she will want to provide to society. Education shapes ideas and ideas shape people's thoughts and thoughts change societies values which in turn will affect resources as some things may change priority over time

1. If a farmer is uneducated, he could not be able to get knowledge about the best fertilizers to use in production of different crops. But an educated farmer can give a high yield of crops through getting detailed info about which type of soil is good for which crop 2. 2ndly, If a worker in a factory, controlling a production machinery, and he is educated about the immediate action to take in case of machinery break-down. Whereas an illiterate one, could not perform this function. 3. 3rdly we can take an example of the tailor, who if well educated can do market research for the new trends of clothes in the market and could easily be flexed to the modern style of designing and embroidery due to which his value in the society could be increased and he could earn large sums of profits from that because he would be having a greater demand as he is having tactics to handle the different situations in productive manner whereas the uneducated cannot be. 4. Finally we can take an example of a manager, if he is not educated, so he cant manage the sub parties working under him which may create unemployment as the costs could be rising due to inappropriate workers who are utilizing the resources inefficiently. SO to overcome these problems, HRD provides trainings to make the staff useful for the business activities.

The educated person can perform his job in less time, more efficiently and very effectively than the uneducated one.
The one who is uneducated cannot attain that much satisfaction from his lifetime experience than the practices done by the educated one in less time. The uneducated one cannot utilize his inside skills in better way than done by the educated one. Educated person can better know the new tactics to tackle the nascent situation but the illiterate person use their traditional methods which remains useless mostly.
