 First reach the place where you want to select the file/folder
 Click the file/ folder
OR
 If you want more than one file/folder selection
 Use the ctrl button + Other file/folder

How to Delete Files/Folders

• Select the file/folder (s)

• Press Del key from Key Board or Right click the Mouse
and select the delete option
• Click yes on the confirmation for File/Folder deletion

How to Retrieve the Files/Folders

 Open the Recycle Bin, just by double clicking it

 Click the object you want to retrieve( File/Folder/Shortcut)
 Use the Ctrl + file/folder for multi selection
 Open the file menu and click on restore option
 Alternatively use Right Mouse click and click on Restore

Know the Recycle Bin Properties

 Select the Recycle Bin, just by single click

 Click the Right Mouse button
 Select the properties and open it
 The Recycle Bin Properties window appears
 It includes Global and other Drive names
 Click on Global
 Take the steps, Select Use one setting for all drives
See that there is no check mark for “Do not move files to
the Recycle Bin”
See the Display confirmation is selected
