SHORT INTRODUCTION OF HOTEL INDUSTRIES:The plantation of this western concept in the eastern environment was made initially by the British. The Taj hotel built by Jameshedji Nauroji Tata in Bombay in 1903..that time almost all the hotels in India were own and manage by British or Swiss. UNESCO (united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization) conference organized in Delhi made the ways for the establishment of the Ashok hotel in 1956, Since then there is a change in the development philosophy which encouraged the private sector to participate in the development process.

IMPORTANCE OF STUDYING CONSUMER BEHAVIOR:Consumer behavior is a study that gives a significant idea to the marketer about how the consumer behaves before, during and after purchase.
For e.g. multiplexes know that people like to see movies on weekends and evenings and therefore, evening and weekend shows are priced higher than the morning and weekly noon shows. They also know that there is a crowd of people like college students who are highly price sensitive so to balance the traffic they adopt such strategies.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY:


To study consumer behavior. To know the views of hotel services. To understand the expectations of the consumer. To study organizational profile of hotel. To study the quality of the hotel services.

INTRODUCTION OF HOTEL:Hotel season 4 is super deluxe hotel which is situated at Sangli city. It was established in February 2009. The restaurant in charge of the hotel is Mr.Pravin Shetty. The proprietor of the hotel is Mr. P.U.Gadade. INTERIOR:STAFF: very popular because of its non-veg. food, fast food, etc It also famous for candlelight dinner.

FINDINGS:-

Families and students are the major customer of this hotel. The services in HOTEL SEASON 4 is satisfactory. The majority of the customer takes refreshment facilities. The majorities of the customer visiting to HOTEL SEASON 4are form middle class and are highly qualified. Most of the customer visit hotel monthly. In hotel response of the staff is OK. The customers are some what satisfied with lodging and boarding facilities.

SUGGESTIONS:Hotel must arrange some kind of festivals through which they can do publicity of there hotel. Hotel management have to do the survey in the area to know views of customer. The hotel should maintain intercom facility as it is not up to the satisfaction of customers.
