Saat ini teknologi berkembang dengan pesat,
salah satunya adalah ukuran komputer. Ukuran
komputer menjadi semakin kecil tetapi memiliki
kemampuan yang semakin banyak, ukuran
komputer sekarang hanya sebesar genggaman
tangan yaitu telepon pintar (smartphone)

Berikut contoh bahwa smartphone
bisa menggantikan peralatan atau
perangkat yang sudah ada :
⊷ Smartphone dapat digunakan untuk
mendengar lagu
⊷ Kita dapat mengirim surat dengan
menggunakan surel/email
⊷ Mengetik surat dengan aplikasi
pengolah kata
⊷ Membuat video dengan menggunakan
smartphone tanpa menggunakan kamera
video. .

Saat ini, TIK juga sangat membantu
dalam melaksanakan kegiatan dan
pekerjaan hari-hari kita :
• Berbelanja dan berjualan secara online
• Melakukan pembayaran dimanapun secara
elektronik
• Silaturahmi secara virtual
• Melakukan proses pembelajaran daring
dengan menggunakan e-learning
• Dapat bekerja dari rumah seperti
pengembang aplikasi, programmar, dan
youtuber
• Konsultasi masalah kesehatan melalui
flatform kesehatan (layanan kesehatan
online)

B. Media Sosial
Media sosial merupakan salah satu teknologi yang
dihasilkan dari perkembangan teknologi informasi
dan komunikasi.
Medsos pertama kali di temukan pada tahun 1994
yaitu GeoCities
Pada bulan Januari 2004 berkembanglah sebuah
jejaring sosial yang dibuat oleh Mark Zuckerberg
bernama FACEBOOK. Setelah itu bermunculanlah
aplikasi sosmed yang lain seperti google, youtube,
twitter, instagram, tiktok, dan media sosial chatting
seperti whatsapp dan telegram.
