Preparing for the future
Created to prepare lawyers to fill significant

leadership roles in local & state bar associations, in Indiana communities & organizations Only leadership program offered statewide to Indiana attorneys 2012 class limited to 25 lawyers who have been admitted to practice for less than 15 years Involves a 2-day opening retreat & four daylong sessions during months January through May

Promotes personal well-being among judges, lawyers, their staffs and law students by encouraging healthy lifestyles and supporting leadership for healthier communities We encourage healthy lifestyles through: physical activity stress management healthy diet smoking cessation

Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 | Election Day Under Indiana law, schools must give instruction on the election process two weeks prior to general elections IKE provides FREE curriculum guides to participating schools to help meet this requirement Schools hold mock elections for students in K-12 to provide hands-on learning experience

In 2012, more than 500,000 students are expected to elect their own governor and president

A mentoring initiative for local bar Associations

Sponsored by the Indiana State Bar Association A one-year program Mentor Match accomplishes the following:
Fosters the development of your practice skills Increases your knowledge of legal customs Contribute to a sense of integrity in the legal profession Promotes collegial relationships among legal professionals & involvement in the organized bar Improves your legal ability & professional judgment Encourages the use of best practices & highest ideals in the practice of law

Curriculum: The Mentoring Plan Mentors receive 12 hours of CLE (to include ethics) for completing the program Mentees receive six hours of CLE (to include ethics) for completing the program
