Agrologistics is an active company in Greece and surrounding countries which offers
a complete range of services in the area of agribusiness, logistics, transportation and supply chain management. Main aim of our company is reducing cost of investments or operations of our clients. Providing 4th Party Logistics services and solutions the target is to adopt and develop within agricultural economy logistics culture in the level of the most developed European and global countries. Field production, sorting, industrial production, packaging, distribution, marketing and sales of agricultural products, use of agricultural wastes conditioned of high and strict standards in logistics procedures.

1. Agricultural Solutions & New products Development


Case study 1. A customer who is active in the field of frozen fruits decided after months co operation to invest also to the field of frozen vegetables with development of contract farming and total handling of the supply chain. The result was a complete range of frozen vegetables with the best freshness quality because the moment of harvesting to the moment of processing and friezing procedure lasts no more than 40 minutes. At the same time the capabilities for volumes are high so the customer was able to develop co operations both in the retail and wholesaling market. The turnover of the new activities is bigger than 6 million euros. Case Study 2. For another customer we developed a complete business plan for big scale field production of a new product in Northern Greece. With this business plan we achieved two important goals. . The production of a product (beans and other legumes) with the higher globally quality standards in big volumes capable to be distributed both in Greek and European market. The quality is great even in global competition. . A great solution for the rotation of crops. In this area there is another basic product cultivation which match very well with the new cultivation for the fields refreshment. The estimation for the turnover is more than 7 million euros and the earnings from the rotation of crops is incalculable.

He reinforced the procedures of field production control and he made changes on the handling. The result all of the above was the decrease of wastes (loss from size and weight) in the amount of 400.000 euros only the first year.

Case study: A customer (active in the industry of frozen fruits & vegetables) with traditional organization where all logistics activities were dispersed in other departments, because of the quick growth started to have serious effectiveness problems and high costs. After the supply chain audit he decided to gather all logistics procedures in a new logistics department where he also included packaging, standardization. The problems were lost immediately and services quality handled from this department was increased. Case study: A customer active wholesaler of agricultural supplies (veterinary and pet) had contracted all transport and distribution services to a couple of Northern Greece companies. Because of the big growth he decided to develop a second warehouse in South Greece. After Agrologistics interference this choice was disqualified (the fixed costs was very high) and a tender management began with 3PL providers in Athens for the distribution of products in South Greece. The result was a more clear contract (cross docking services) with a 3PL provider & a saving of 35.000 euro per year with better service quality
