Loading Method


According to the storage locations of the source files for loading, there are two loading modes as follows.
Loading software and data from BAM hard disk to host (board) memory Loading software and data from flash memory to board memory Use SET LSS and LST LSS to set and view the loading path selection path of boards.

The loading path selection switch is for the selection of loading path of programs and data. Program and data are available for the loading path selection switch.

Basic Handling Methods

 

Observe the state of board indicator. View the alarm information and printed information in the Exchange window on BAM server.

Common Problems and Trouble Shooting

If loading of SMUI fails, it is generally caused by the communication interrupt between SMUI and BAM, and the alarms for communication interrupt between SMUI and BAM will be generated. If the SMUI in slot 6 cannot be loaded, the pinging of "PING 172.20.200.X" (X is the module number of the board) on BAM will also fail. If the SMUI in slot 8 cannot be loaded, execution of the boards command "PING 172.30.200.X" (X is the module number of the board) on BAM will also fail. In this case, check whether the setting of DIP switch of the SIUI board defining the frame number is correct, and whether the network is normal.

Summary


Software loading refers to loading the host programs and data files in the loading directory of the background BAM server to the boards. Software loading is required in the case of deployment, update and change of some system parameters.

Generally, software is loaded to various foreground boards by restarting them.

Voice module loading path: BAM LANWITHCH HSC SMU board; multi-media module loading path: MMU AMP or SYS - board

Loading preparation: hardware connection; SIU frame number switch, support software, normal running of BAM; loading file exists.

Handling of loading problems: whether the setting of DIP switch deciding frame number is correct, and whether network cable is normal.
