Concept of Project: A project is neither a physical

objective nor an end result, but one which is to do with going on in between, which must be same whether one build high-tech process plant or merely hold an election, to deserve a common name and to be called as a project. Hph/v.c.Sontakki

Project Management: The basic purpose for initiating a

project is to accomplish specific goals. The reason for organizing the task as a project is to focus the responsibility and authority for the attainment of the goals on an individual or small group. Wiley India/J. R. Meredith &

Project Stakeholders
"A manager is not a person who can do the

work better than his men; he is a person who can get his men to do the work better than he can." Fred Smith Stake holders are those who takes the primary responsibility of doing all the things necessary for the incorporation of a company.
Stakeholder management is critical to the success of every

project in every organization I have ever worked with. By engaging the right people in the right way in your project, you can make a big difference to its success... and to your career."

Project Stakeholders
Project stakeholders are those entities within or outside an

organisation which: a) Sponsor a project or, b) Have an interest or a gain upon a successful completion of a project. c) May have a positive or negative influence in the Project Completion. Examples of project stakeholders include the customer, the user group, the project manager, the development team, the testers, etc. Stakeholders are anyone who has an interest in the project. Project stakeholders are individuals and organizations that are actively involved in the project, or whose interests may be affected as a result of project execution or project completion. They may also exert influence over the projects objectives and outcomes. The project management team must identify the stakeholders, determine their requirements and expectations, and, to the extent possible, manage their influence in relation to the requirements to ensure a successful project

Project Stakeholders
The following are examples of project stakeholders: There are narrower views of the term stakeholder,

focusing on the influencers and decision makers of a business or technological change. In this context, stakeholders are managers who have the organizational authority to allocate resources (people, money, services) and set priorities for their own organizations in support of a change. They are the people who make or break a change

Organizational Influences
Projects are typically part of an organization that is larger than the project. Examples of organizations include corporations, government agencies,

healthcare institutions, international bodies, professional associations, and others. Even when the project is external (joint ventures, partnering), the project will still be influenced by the organization or organizations that initiated it. Organizational Cultures and Styles Most organizations have developed unique and describable cultures. These cultures are reflected in numerous factors, including, but not limited to: Shared values, norms, beliefs, and expectations Policies and procedures View of authority relationships Work ethic and work hours.
