JAMUNA GROUP established in 1974, launched the operation of its flagship enterprise of Jamuna Electrical Mfg. Co. Ltd. for manufacturing of electrical accessories as pioneer in Bangladesh. Mr. M. Nurul Islam, being the Leader of the Group took up the initiatives to bring necessary technology and equipments for the set up of the Bangladeshi companies. His spirit & untiring efforts, advance ideas and commitment of his colleagues & staff, laid the foundation of JAMUNA GROUP. And thus the group took the challenges for successful future development of the company. In the second phase JAMUNA GROUP ventured of producing different types of ceiling & exhaust fans emerging as Jamuna Electric & Engineering Industries Ltd. in 1978 for producing different types of ceiling & exhaust fans. In 1980, the company began to produce power & domestic cables.

Storming process of Jamuna Group

After establishment of Jamuna Group, it had to face a number of problems, but the group took an appropriate decision to achieve its designed goals as structured in the companys profile. The employers of the group raised many questions such as how decision, planning and agreement would be made up and in which way the company would be directed to make it as a flourishing group of company. However, all problems and obstacles were well tackled and the company stepped into its goal of future success with high hope and aspiration.

After completing the storming process the group began to be effective. Each and every employee of the group tried to focus on achieving their goals of success. They strengthened their relationship among each other through the organization. And the company moved on to the goal.

Performing process of Jamuna group

Like all other successful companies, Jamuna group also has reached the performing stage overcoming problems on its way. But at one point, the group asked how it could do its best. The members showed their zeal of work, competency and their enthusiasm went on solving the problems . Furthermore, leadership in the company was shared and participative by individuals. Adjourning process of Jamuna group

Adjourning stage is very important for any companys improvement and sticking to its target point. In case of Jamuna Group, all were committed to their works, None left the company, rather all unitedly took more and more new challenges for greater progress. Still there could be fear of downfall of the company if leadership and management are not properly handled.
