Finnish telecom giant Nokia leads the global smartphonessales chart with 40% market share, a report revealed. A recent report by Strategy Analytics said that global smartphone shipments touched a record 60 million during the second quarter registering a growth of 43 percent annually. The reasons for this growth are healthy operator subsidies, vigorous competition between premiumtier vendors and a growing range of lower-cost models, said the research firm.
