Artist Trust Grants for Artist Projects
Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) provide support for individual artist projects in the Visual, Performing, Literary and Media Arts. These categories encompass experimental/emerging fields, crossdisciplinary and traditional/folk art. Examples of artist projects include (but are not limited to) the development, completion or presentation of new work; publication; travel for artistic research or to present or complete work; documentation of work; and advanced workshops for professional development.

Eligibility Washington State resident Generative individual artist 18 years of age or older

Eligibility May not be: Graduate or undergraduate matriculated students Current Board members, Honorary Committee members, staff, consultants, Current Fellowship panelists or their immediate family members. Two year wait before reapplying (2010-2011) One application per artist Artist Team

Project Income and Expenses: THE BUDGET
The financial description of your proposed project. A complete and realistic budget demonstrates to the selection panel or jury that you have considered the financial as well as the creative aspects of your project. Feasibility of completing your project. The projected income MUST EQUAL the projected expenses. You do not have to fill out every blank.

Monthly Overhead (rent, utilities, insurance, marketing, fees, materials, supplies, professional development) / Hours Worked + Reasonable profit margin (10-15%) OR Substitute your current pay OR Ask a peer or mentor
