Mediation Device
Mediation device converts incoming data formats from MSC to a compatible format for further applications as decision support system and Billing System. It support the features viz. copy, format, merge, filter, modify etc.

Functions of Customer Service Module

Account search functionality - to determine whether the customer is an existing, former or new customer. It also holds Address, Tel. No., E-Mail address of the customer. Payment Process & Collection:Direct debits can be arranged from banks. Customer information Handling: Handles & maintains Customer Record and the types of subscriptions.

Mediation Server Configuration These are SUNFIRE 4800 Servers. Each server is having ONE control board. Each will have internal HD of 72GB capacity. Each server is with 4 CPU and 8GB RAM SUN Solaris OS loaded on each server. Both the servers are connected directly to the LAN and as well as to the Cisco 7206 router.

Billing Server Configuration These are SUNFIRE 4800 Servers. Each server is having TWO control boards. Each will have internal HD of 72GB capacity for each Mother board. Each server is with 4 CPU and 8GB RAM (2 Nos). SUN Solaris OS and Oracle loaded on each server. Both the servers are connected directly to the LAN through Cisco 5505 switch.
