Introduction / Contextualization
The continuous increase of demand for products and services comes demanding logistics area of organizations; Logistics costs may reach 11% sales and 12% of the world's GDP; Constantly pressed, organizations can search across multiple technologies needed to support the acquisition of competitive advantage.

BALLOU, Ronald H. Gerenciamento da cadeia de suprimentos/logstica empresarial. 5. ed. Porto Alegre: Bookman, 2006, 616p.

Problem
Need for greater agility and accuracy in exchanges of information and products between organizations of the same supply chain, resulting in cost savings; Need to reduce the high costs of logistics for competitive advantage;

Methodological Support
Qualitative research methodology;
Literature review on books, theses, dissertations and articles;

Sources: Siencedirect, Scielo (Scientific Electronic), Nou-Rau Unicamp's Digital Library, Digital Library of theses and dissertations of the University of So Paulo, among others.

Methodological Support
For the mapping of logistical processes was used to model Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), with the notation of the Object Management Group (OMG); BizAgi Process Modeler, Software tool for the graphical modeling of processes.

Proposed Solution
The NF-e can be defined as a document issued electronically with the aim of recording the transactions relating to the sale of products, goods and services interstate and intermunicipal transportation; In August 27, 2005, the Brazilian Government, signed the Protocol of Cooperation ENAT n 03/2005 - II ENAT, Objectifying the implantation of NF-e.

Proposed Solution
The RFID technology is a method that uses electromagnetic waves to access data stored in a microchip attached to a small outpost, automatically identifying the attached objects, and can be used in enabling supply chain visibility and tracking of products; RFID technology can be regarded as the most strategic and greater business impact.

Proposed Solution
Case study: Brazil RFID/EPC: the supply chain of the future:
Test the application of RFID solution in Brazilian market; Participating companies: CBD-Companhia Brasileira de Distribuio/Grupo Po de Acar, Accenture, Procter Gamble and Gillette CHEP, Receiving/dispatch processes, exchange of information between the partners, keeping the traditional processes of each organization; About 1,000 pallets tagged with tags; 2 months of monitoring; Distribution centres were equipped with RFIDEPC portals that were the readings based applications via the internet.

Proposed Solution
Results of the case study: Brazil RFID/EPC: the supply chain of the future:
97% - index of accuracy in reading the pallets;

10% - breaking indexes in reduction in retail distribution centers and of the manufacturer;
3 to 12% - increase in productivity of the labour force; 18 to 26% - reduction in inventory losses; 2 to 5% - reduction in reverse logistics; 10% - reduced cost of maintaining inventory; 10% - reduction in the level of inventories; 10% - reduced products, turning.

Results/Conclusions
Organizations that make NF-e technologies and RFID can obtain competitive advantages through gain in agility and accuracy in the execution of their logistic processes, thereby reducing their costs of logistics; This argument can also be attested by the results achieved by Brazil RFID/EPC case study: supply chain of the future.

18

Results/Conclusions
The search for greater competitiveness of organizations should be part of everyday life, as to keep the market in which it operates or lead it, this skill is of paramount importance;
In the continuous search for competitiveness come the various technologies, identifying those that can provide more competitive is the challenge for organizations today.
