Ti ngh conclusion nn th ny: nhc li nhng thay i 1 cch tm tt v a ra suggestion thi, k phi solution. In conclusion, there are some typical changes of traditional family in Vietnam as follows: Firstly, the size of Vietnamese family is small; nuclear families become popular. This trend is common when the speed of industrialization-modernization is increasing. Secondly, many functions of the family have changed. For example, family leaves the whole work of educating children for schools and other social services; the economic function of families are shifting from "production" to "consumption. Thirdly, the relations among family members become not tight. Fourthly, the role and position of women in the family and society are improved. These changes lead to many complicated problems and conflicts between views on traditional and modern values and between the old and young generations in Vietnamese society. Therefore, to resolve conflicts and "build prosperous family, equality, progress, happiness ..." (Resolution of the Communist Party of Viet Nam's second X), we need to promote good morals of traditional family in our new modern society and ensure the rights of every individual in family. In addition we need to focus on some of the following problems: having the best solutions to building families; supporting household economy, educating to improve people's intellectual; make a family reunion; have a strong attachment to family members; further the poverty-alleviation movement; practise birth-control; strengthening the implementation of the system social policy for family policy; propagandize, disseminate knowledge about gender to create Equality of gender in the family and society
